Too many of our neighbors are one unfortunate event away from crisis; especially without a safety net or support.  
After facing the loss of employment, Theresa, a 57-year-old resident of New Haven, was facing issues affording rent, food, and other basic needs.

Financial Education

Understanding how to use financial tools like checking and savings accounts helps people build financial security. 

But it’s not something every family or school teaches. Accessing financial education through coaching and/or workshops helps people save, pay bills safely, access loans, and increase resiliency in times of financial crisis.
