United Way of Greater New Haven is excited to officially launch Read Across America 2022! Every year, we invite volunteers and community members to help build local students’ love for literacy during this week-long celebration of reading.
This year on February 28th - March 4th*, volunteers will have the opportunity to either record a book reading to share with students or read aloud to a class in-person. Book themes will be exploring Social Emotional Learning and Diversity.
By reading to a class, you are creating a memorable experience that will not only support teachers, but also inspire our youngest learners. Invite your friends, family, or coworkers to support literacy around Greater New Haven!
*The deadline for pre-recorded submissions is March 4th.
