Are you finding it challenging to pay your monthly expenses, pay off debt, or are you just one emergency away from sinking financially?

Greater New Haven has a wealth of experts who can help, so we’ve hand-selected a team of financial professionals who will guide residents through the new financial workshop series—Building Blocks for Financial Wellness. It’s a monthly workshop that features proven strategies, helping you achieve financial wellness and ultimately, financial freedom.

Some of the topics that will be covered are:

  • Budgeting: How to find out where your money is going and what to do about it
  • Career/Income: How to make more income
  • Mindset: What has shaped your habits + Exploring new healthier perspectives
  • Savings: How to grow long-term savings
  • Debt: Ways to slash and eliminate debt
  • Nutrition: Ways to navigate food shopping and save every time
  • Personal: How to manage gift-giving for loved ones’ milestones, while on a budget
  • Bills/Expenses: Managing utilities, rent, mortgages, childcare services
  • Security: How to avoid identity theft, and more

The series will not only teach practices for financial health, but also the 'mindset of money' which will help cultivate new healthy long-term habits. Join us and learn so much more than just budgeting!

Homework will be assigned and personal financial achievements along the journey will be celebrated. Also, when you attend your 6th class, you receive a milestone certificate.
